MuRu - Museo Rurale recently hosted team-building days dedicated to Svimed (a non-profit organization) and the environmental association Change for Planet . The museum's spaces served as a hub for developing group dynamics through the application of practical methodologies.
The Method: Tinkering and Group Dynamics
MuRu's work is based on tinkering , an approach that uses direct manipulation and construction to address specific objectives. The workshops for Svimed and Change for Planet focused on three key areas for teamwork:
Communication: processes of information exchange between members.
Planning: defining common strategies and managing workflows.
Relationships: interaction and coordination between group members.

The Museum offers its facilities to transform the rural context into a concrete workspace, where learning occurs through action and problem solving.
Logistics Collaboration with Le Chiuse di Guadagna
To manage reception services, MuRu collaborates with the Le Chiuse di Guadagna farmhouse , located on the same site. During the workshop days, the farmhouse provided breakfast, coffee breaks, and lunch.
This logistical synergy allows MuRu to organize multi-day team building events : organizations can plan extended work sessions while using the farmhouse's rooms for overnight stays, ensuring a stay that is functional to the team's objectives.

Laboratory Design and Related Activities
MuRu designs workshops based on the needs of the host team. In addition to sessions focused on work dynamics, various activities can be integrated into the program, such as:
Cooking classes and tastings.
Excursions in the surrounding area.
Area visits: the museum's location allows for easy access to the centers of Scicli and Modica , as well as the coastal strip.
MuRu is intended as a headquarters for organizations and companies seeking a place to operate where they can apply the tinkering method in a dedicated environment.
